Transactional data can be automatically created by the HCM Extension Applications or defined by a user. The data are available in write mode via the Data Entry module, and can be queried and reported via the Data Research module.

Figure 1 shows the object “Course” used in the Cost of Enterprise Learning Management application. The property “Course Info” is linked to the data from the SAP E-learning module. “Variable Costs” and “Actual Costs Entries” are data properties automatically created by the “Costs of E-Learning” Setup.

Properties “Variable Costs” and “Actual Costs Entries” are available in write mode in the Data Entry module (see Figures 2-3.) For the “Variable Costs” only the field “Adjustment” is updatable.

Figure 4 shows the object “Position” used in the Cost of Turnover Management application. The data property “Position Training Costs” is defined by the user to enter and track position-specific training costs. It can be added as a user-defined cost to the cost model in the “Costs of Turnover” Application.
