The Cost of Turnover Setup offers a high level of customization of the cost calculation model. It allows for the selecting/deselecting of a cost type under a complete set of cost categories offered by the Employment Management Association (EMA.) The selected cost type is automatically added to the Categorized and Total Costs of Turnover calculations. For the transaction arguments of the selected cost type, the setup automatically creates an optimized data storage and data entry interface.
In the example on the left the user selected the cost type “Personal Productivity Lost” under the category “Lost Productivity Costs.” The calculation will be based on the salary data linked from the payroll system and several customizable coefficients. |

The Cost of Turnover Setup also allows for the addition of a fully custom cost type. In the example on the left the user made the decision to track the position-specific training costs associated with a new hire. To setup such tracking, the user added the new data element “New Hire Position Training” under the business object “Position”, and correspondingly “New Hire Position Training” as a new cost type to the category “Training Costs.” The setup will automatically apply the amount entered as the new hire position training cost to all hiring events related to any position.
The application's flexibility and high level of the customization that can be performed by an end user without intervention from the IT personnel will ensure the low level of TCO for the Costs of Turnover Management application. |
