The Access Violation Management tab of the Access Management Console provides the user with the ability to record and report access rules violations. The tab has setup for the frequency rule validation procedure. The procedure can also be run manually. If a violation is found, a corresponding unauthorized or missing access event as an instance of the Object “Access Violation Event” will be created. The object has reference to an access point, employee, violation type, time stamp violation was found, time stamp violation was last checked and status. If an open violation is not found, its status will be changed to “closed.”
In the example on the left the “Open Violations” report shows twelve missing and one unauthorized access points. Additional reports like “List of Assigned Access Points,” “List of Access Point Users,” “Access Violations Aging” and etc. are provided via the Reports module of the application. |

The Notification Management tab of the Access Management Console provides setup for the access violation notifications. A notification is a massage that will be automatically sent via e-mail or other delivery form used by the customer. The destination and text of the notification will be automatically generated according to a template defined by a user. Follow-up notifications can be generated as well.
In the example on the left the address properties and text of the standard notification are defined using a reference-based text designer included in the Notification Management tab. It employs direct and nested references rooted from the object “Access Violation Event.” |
